Supplies:

– Scissors (To cut the wire)
– Soldering iron or hot metal skewer (To melt holes in the plastic base, measure and mark spacing first, and perform in a well ventilated area. You will be melting plastic. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK.)
– Sharpies (red, blue, green, yellow, purple)
– Silver spray paint with primer for the base (I chose a color called Iron Ore)
– Spray paint for primary color (I chose blue)
– Painters tape (If you prefer to mask or paint with multiple colors)

– Cloth (to wipe away paint, may be ruined in the process)
– Acrylic paint (red, orange, black, and an optional accent color to your primary color)
– Brush (for dabbing in the “mud”)
– Vinyl decals (optional)
– Jewel stickers OR screws (hex only, there are no phillips head screws in Star Wars)

– A single needle (for scratching, detailing, and sculpting)
– A pen that you can take apart (I used a Target brand generic gel pen)
