Elon Musk New CEO Of Dogecoin? – Latest Elon Musk News and Video 2019

Hey Guys. Chad with Elon Musk News and Video. I meant to put this out much earlier in the day, but worldly obligations sometimes get in the way. Anyway, I saw a news story about Elon Musk being voted the new CEO of Dogecoin, which is one of the top 25 cryptocurrency companies in the world. This is one of Elon Musk funny tweet.
Elon has made it no secret he believes paper money is doomed and thinks cryptocurreny is the way of the future. In a tweet on Tuesday, Musk said his favorite cryptocurrency is Dogecoin, which has been around since 2013. This coin was started as a kind of joke on an internet meme but really grew in popularity. As of today its market value is 400 million dollars. Not too shabby.
To quote Musk he specifically said “Dogecoin might be my favorite cryptocurrency. It’s pretty cool,” Now you might wonder what prompted Elon to make that remark. Well, Dogecoin started a poll on April 1 to see who should be its new CEO. Keep in mind that decentralized cryptocurrencies usually don’t have CEOs. But this poll was conducted and four names were listed as choices. Our hero Elon was one of them.
About 4000 users voted and Elon won, gaining an overwhelming 54% of the votes. Of course Elon is going to win. The only people who wouldn’t want Elon to be CEO of their company are those obtuse analysts CNBC, FOX News and Bloomberg sometimes have on their shows. Anyway, Dogecoin is apparently expecting Elon to step down from head of Tesla and SpaceX to take his place as CEO of its company. Just kidding guys. A little belated April fools humor there.
Elon was actually very proud of the crypto community’s faith in him. He even changed his Twitter bio to “CEO of Dogecoin” on Tuesday. He also tweeted a picture of a Shiba Inu dog with the caption “Dogecoin Rulz.” After further consideration, Elon decided to abdicate his title and step down as CEO of Dogecoin, later updating his bio to “former CEO of Dogecoin.”) Ah, I love Elon’s sense of humor. It’s good to have a leader like him at the helm – one who is super intelligent, introspective, humorous and full of charm.
By the way, later today, which is now April 4 where I am, there will be a hearing at 2 pm in Manhattan courtroom to determine if he’s in contempt of court.
