Finding a BLACK KYBER CRYSTAL In Galaxy's Edge – Can Peter Find Batuu’s Most Elusive Gem?

Peter and Kitra return to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in search for the exclusive limited Black Kyber Crystal. How can you find a black kyber crystal in Galaxy’s Edge? Peter has an idea, but it’s not necessarily a good one. But through this method, he should eventually find out. The question is, how long and how much money will it take?

Peter also explains the history of kyber crystals in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. You will learn about color selection at Savi’s Workshop and Dok Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, as well as just how many different versions of each of the colors are available. There are not only different cuts of kyber crystals tied to different Jedi and Sith spirits, which can be unlocked in Holocrons, but also an elusive exclusive Black Kyber Crystal which is hidden somewhere in the red kyber crystal canisters. Rumor has it there is one in one hundred, but we don’t know the odds for sure. What we do know is it’s not easy to find, and the black kyber crystals can routinely sell for over $1000 on ebay.

There used to be a kyber crystal hack that allowed you to find a crystal using a iPhone flashlight, which forced Disneyland and Disney World to move the stock of kyber crystals behind the register. The second batch of kyber crystals that were released with the launch of Galaxy’s Edge in Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios now are manufactured with a little sheet that blocks the previous hack. So there is no simple way to get a black kyber.
