The ability to measure and record rotational position is a useful sensing function for many IoT projects. Contactless magnetic sensors are a great option over other types of rotational sensors. In this tutorial, Robin first explains how to set up the TE Connectivity XPLAINED PRO KMA36 rotation sensor in Digi-key’s DK IoT Studio using the proper elements and linking configurations to rotational position data via Bluetooth to a smart phone.
