Blockchain Lawyer Varun Sethi has just released the alleged copy of the Draft of Banning of Cryptocurrency and Regulation of Official Digital Currency Bill 2019. The draft copy details the contents of the bill and also confirms our worst fears regarding penalties. However, the bill may not be tabled in Parliament any time soon. In addition, India may also change its stance depending on its commitment to the FATF standards and the Supreme Court hearing scheduled to take place on July 23rd!
