Mining Bitcoin / Ethereum With RTX 3080 on Aorus 15G Laptop

Looking for mining GPUs is almost impossible, so I had to be more creative to get my hands on them.
Then I saw the Aorus 15G laptop with the RTX 3080 inside. I had to give it a try to see how much can I make mining on it.

My Alienware 17R with 1080 was about to retire anyway so that was a perfect time for me to buy a new one (it ended up dying by the time I finished making the video).

The mining performance is very impressive, and it’s very efficient. BUT! I want to point out that it’s not a good idea to mine on any laptop 24/7.

There is a lithium battery in the laptop and the high temperature can damage it. Also, the mining put a lot of stress on the motherboard, fans, and other components.

The laptop was designed to be small light and portable, it was not designed to run at full force 24/7.

I’m gonna mine on it 24/7 anyways!
