Mining Free Cryptocurrency Using Solar Power

I got two cryptocurrency mining rigs running for free on the power of the sun. There is no risk or loss when you can mine for free like this.

I have 1,600 watts of solar panels connected to our off grid tiny house. I can burn off half that power on an average day if we are not washing clothes or something like that which uses more energy.

Our household generally uses very little power on average. So with 1,600 watts of solar panels we have power to burn on a bright, sunny day.

I got a dual 1080 TI rig running first of all on solar power. Outside on the MPPT solar charge controller I was still in float mode while mining cryptocurrency!!

Once I had that going I worked on my little ASRock 1900m micro PC with another 1080 graphics card on it. Eventually I also got this one set up as well. It was my Linux test computer in my off grid office for a while but now it was just collecting dust recently.

I have it mining altcoins for free now as well using solar power. And I am still only pulling half of the total capacity of our solar panels in peak sunlight.

I will not pull over half of the available energy though in peak sunlight so that we can run other devices in our off grid tiny house an also let the battery bank charge up.

I plan to keep mining cryptocurrency for free using solar power all summer. Crypto is on the rise and now is the time to mine.
