Ripple’s Swell conference is taking place today and tomorrow in San Francisco. Former US President Bill Clinton is today’s keynote speaker. September was a very good month for Ripple’s XRP as it was one of the very few altcoins that didn’t struggle and it finished the month up almost 80%.
Last week Ripple announced on its blog that the Siam Commercial Bank will be very the first the first financial institution on RippleNet to use its “multi-hop” feature.
This allows them to settle frictionless payments on behalf of other financial institutions on the network. Using multi-hop, SCB will be able to receive and forward on a payment without a bilateral relationship between the originator and beneficiary institutions.
