The Verge Has Gone Too Far!

The Verge Has Gone Too Far!

Back in september, The Verge posted a terrible PC build guide where there were mentions of Tweezers, braces , allen wrenches and where a whole tube of thermal paste saw its demise. They started by removing the likes, dislikes and comments and then removed the video entirely but most of the reactions/parody videos remained.

Well, it seems like The verge wasn’t done with this situation and they tried to takedown what is, in my opinion, the best video to come out of this situation. Lyle from bitwit put kyle’s channel in jeopardy because Vox Media, the company that owns the verge, copyright striked kyle’s channel in hopes of silencing him.
While the video was down for about a day, Kyle kept updating us on the situation. Thankfully youtube was quick-ish on their feet and sent a warning to Vox Media to let them know that the copyright strike should be reconsidered. The parody went back up and Lyle can now sleep knowing he didn’t ruin his alter ego’s career.
