I’ve been slowly picking up the Yamaha-made carts for the DX7ii series. This came with the cart, manual, and very nice box. Like the factory ROM cart, you get 2 banks of 64 patches/32 perfs each. The online sysex seems to be missing the perfs and microtunings in some cases. Most of the individual patches had made their way into the patch-o-sphere even in the 1980’s but still there were a few I had never heard. The thumb piano is a real standout, and a few very nice ACTUAL rhodes emulations (i.e. not FullTines). There’s a touch of Valhalla Vintageverb on the on send. Anyone know the programmer so I can credit them?
