I am sure by now, if you’ve been paying any attention to the latest news, you’ve probably heard of the recent hot topic event, about the GameStop short squeeze, that had big, massive hedge funds in hyper short positions, losing billions potentially.
For those of you that do not know, to re-illustrate the story, the company GameStop was being shorted by multibillion-dollar hedge funds. In this particular case, the Hedge funds in question, were involved in an illegitimate shorting of the company GameStop, regardless of its current fundamentals.
The company GameStop has significantly addressed, many of its past issues, and even though it has a business model, that many people consider to be, not in keeping with the current trends, of online E-commerce, despite that GameStop still made significant progress in addressing many of its shortcomings. #eos #eosio #eosapologist #crypto #cryptoapologist #cryptoapologistbot #cryptoapologetics
