The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) says it expects to start releasing the election results from three o’clock this afternoon.
It says vote counting has been completed in a number of voting stations around the country. Opposition leader Nelson Chamisa and President Emmerson Mnangagwa are the main contenders.
The final results are expected by Saturday.
