Aion of the Aion Network is a cryptocurrency that began as a Ethereum ERC-20 token and has now transitioned to launching their own mainnet Aion coin. Aion secures their network with Proof-Of-Work PoW consensus mechanism.
Aion has not been an easy cryptocurrency to mine since their launch due to (previously) only having a linux miner, and only a linux wallet.
Fortunately EWBF has released a linux AND windows miner (for Nvidia only) that is the highest performing Aion miner to date.
Today I will show you how to get an Aion mainnet address using Bilaxy the only cryptocurrency exchange for mainnet Aion coins currently. I will also show you the recommended way to store your AION using their linux wallet setup on your windows or OS X computer. We will be using VirtualBox VM for that task.
I will guide you on how to setup EWBF to mine AION on your windows computer/mining rig as well as setting up EWBF to mine AION with Simple Miner smOS (linux).
