Foldable phones are just getting started. Here’s what we know so far: the Huawei Mate X, the Samsung Galaxy Fold, and the Royole FlexPai. It’s already obvious that they’re going to be a big part of our shared technological future. The hype from all corners for them has been deafening, whether you’re talking to hardware manufacturers, mobile carriers, or tech enthusiasts. As big and important as foldables will be though, they also face a long road of evolution and refinement, one where prices will need to come down and usability will have to go way up.
