About:
Breanne Madigan joins Ripple as Head of the Global Institutional Markets Team. In this role, she will oversee the expanding Global Markets Team and help to develop mass adoption of digital assets while transforming global payments systems across the world.

Prior to joining Ripple, Breanne spent 14 years at Goldman Sachs (GS) in a variety of leadership roles across sales, trading, strategy and business management. Breanne was most recently at Blockchain as the Head of Institutional Sales and Strategy, to help design and bring to market a global institutional platform for digital currency.

While at Goldman Sachs, Breanne served as Head of GS Institutional Wealth Services (IWS), focused on sophisticated family office clients of the Investment Management Division. IWS provides cross-asset expertise and access to narrowly syndicated public and private transactions including direct investments, co-investments alongside GS, and cornerstone investments across equity and debt capital market offerings.

Prior to IWS, Breanne also served as the Global Franchise Manager (COO) for GS’s G10 Foreign Exchange Business, as well as EMEA Emerging Markets, a business of over 300 headcount across Sales, Trading and Strategist teams with ~ $2Bn net revenues annually. Breanne has also held other sales and strategy roles in GS’s Securities Division including money markets and hedge fund financing.

At Blockchain, the world’s largest software provider for digital currency and distributed ledger technology, Breanne was responsible for building a team and bringing to market a global institutional digital asset platform, including an over-the-counter trading desk, research platform and venture fund. Blockchain has over 38 million digital wallet users across 150 countries, and has powered over 200M transactions, empowering users across the globe to transact quickly without intermediaries.
