Your main focus when mining cryptocurrencies should be to generate as much in bitcoin as possible, whether that be by mining bitcoin directly or by mining other currencies to exchange for even more bitcoin.

But before you start any mining, please take some time to consider if you would be better off simply spending your cash on buying bitcoin today and waiting for a high bitcoin price vs spending the cash on mining equipment and hoping to mine even more bitcoin than you could have just bought with the money and saved yourself a lot of hassle!
