The thing we had been waiting for a long time, it is finally here. The Judge has granted three verdicts in this ongoing Ripple lawsuit. The most important one being the extension of the discovery process. Unfortunately for XRP investors out there, the Judge has sided with the SEC on this one and granted additional 60 days. This means the lawsuit is going to get extended and so is XRP price from skyrocketing.
Although the Judge gave in favour of SEC, it was not a complete victory as the Judge allowed Ripple to conduct foreign discovery. This means that Ripple will get access to XRP transactions and show that the majority of these transactions actually happened outside the U.S., which means outside the jurisdiction of the SEC.
In other XRP news, Ripple has sent a letter to the Judge forcing the SEC to hand over internal trading policies related to XRP. This will show how the SEC viewed XRP before bringing the lawsuit. This and more XRP news today!
