In US news and current events today, masked white supremacists marched through D.C. with a police escort. The Patriot Front is a white supremacist, neo-Nazi group that uses widely-accepted American imagery of patriotism & liberty to promote its ideology. Patriot Front’s manifesto explicitly states people of color are not American.

Patriot Front broke off from another white nationalist group after the chaotic Charlottesville rally in an effort to recast itself as mainstream and patriotic. Patriot Front’s founder was involved with the Charlottesville rally, where a man ran over and killed an anti-racist protester.

As the ‘Patriot Front’ marched in D.C. antifa members confronted the group. The antifa movement is made up of left-wing militant anti-fascist groups and individuals in the U.S.
