Long Island, New York is still haunted by the crimes of the Long Island Serial Killer. The unidentified murderer is also referred to as the Gilgo Beach Killer and the Craigslist Ripper.
The serial killer is believed to have murdered between 10 to 16 people over a period of nearly 20 years and disposed of its victims’ dismembered bodies in the South Shore area of Long Island.
The majority of the killings were of sex workers that advertised on Craigslist and the bodies were found over a period of 10 months in 2010 and 2011. But here’s the real reason the Long Island Serial Killer murders remain unsolved.
