A year ago Charles actually helped with the education surrounding Bitcoin. This is before he realized that BTC was likely to never change. Then he helped start EThereum and had some different thoughts there. Ultimately, he decided to build Cardano around the ideas that he felt Ethereum and Bitcoin lacked. Charles also talks about how much fun the crypto industry is. There is so much innovation that is happening on a consistent basis.
